The purpose of the position is to create standards and establish metrics in driving product quality. Needs to maintain highest level of quality standards and meet the required customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing quality standards and control mechanism for ensuring quality control.
- Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Monitor production processes in real-time to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze process data to identify trends, variations, and areas for improvement.
- Identify quality-related issues during the manufacturing process and work with teams to resolve them.
- Employ root cause analysis techniques to determine the underlying causes of defects.
- Prepare reports on quality metrics, non-conformances, and corrective actions for management review.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Address customer complaints related to product quality and work on corrective actions.
- Interface with the project team and client towards inspection and resolution of quality issues including raising NAR (Non-Acceptance
- Report) and NCR (Non-Compliance Report) and follow up for closure on time.
- Implement and monitor all QMS (Quality Management System) related activities.
- Total Experience in years:3 – 5 Years of experience in CNG business
- Graduation/ Degree: BE / B. Tech in Mechanical / ECE / E&I
- Post-Graduation/ PGDM :MBA in Operations will be an added Advantage. Not Mandatory.
Other preferred courses/ certifications: ATEX / UL / ISO related Certifications
Background and Skills:
- Good communication skills with clarity in thoughts.
- Technical expertise in Quality Tools – Proficient in testing methodologies, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, CAPA and QMS
- Good knowledge on ISO standards and requirements
- Team player - Work with cross functional stake holders and achieving the common goals of the organization within stipulated time.
- Accountability: Ensuring strong responsibility and prioritizing to deliver our commitments on time.
- Customer Driven: Deeply understanding the customer expectations and developing the innovative solutions to meet the future needs.
- The candidate should have worked in large MNCs and handled multiple customers / product portfolios.
