Engineer-Production

Job Summary -

Production engineer / supervisor is responsible for meeting the production target for the product line / shift agreed with Production Planning Control (PPC)

Main Responsibilities -

• Setting the production target for the shift in alignment with PPC
• Manpower allocation & ensure availability as per the shift requirement in coordination with the P&A executive
• Monitoring production on hourly & shift basis & ensure target is met regularly
• Take corrective measures, in case of continuous challenges in meeting the production target (with the help of CFT team)
• Implementation of quality standards & maintenance of quality documents in the production area
• Ensure production ERP entries are made on time
• Maintain 5S in the shop floor
• Identify areas & work on continuous improvement for enhancing productivity & quality
• Responsible for keeping the blue-collar team highly motivated, trained including on the job & classroom trainings
• Skill matrix for blue collar in coordination with P&A Executive, Annual performance review
• Will ensure safety aspects are followed & maintained in the shop floor
• Maintain documents as per the QMS & EMS Process
  
  

Education -

Degree / Diploma in Engineering

Experience -

Minimum 4 to 6 Years of experience as Production Engineer / Supervisor managing an assembly line or shift independently.

Languages -

Proficiency in local language & manageable English

Skills & Competencies -

Supervisory & good interpersonal skills. Able to handle team at Shop Floor.

Additional Information -

• Person working in a light engineering and batch production assembly operations unit, managing a team size of 50-100 blue collar will be preferred
• Advantageous, if the person has packaging industry background
