Engineer – Moulding & Closing

Key Responsibilities:

• Records and maintains moulding and closing process setup sheets.
• Optimize the moulding and closing process to improve the efficiency and quality with parameter adjustment, new method application & qualifications.
• Assists in trouble shooting production processes.
• Extensive hands-on experience with the entire sand molding and closing process, should be familiar with machinery.
• Improves and documents processes on existing molds, using established systematic techniques.
• Ensure a correct Definition & Deployment of Process Flow on Molding and closing Area.
• Ensure Molding and closing Shopfloor Documents & Instructions organization and compliance with Standards.
• Contribute on proposition of initiatives and solutions on Molding and closing Technical Troubleshooting.
• Drive initiatives for plant productivity increase, material saving, and cost reduction.
• Develop and improve on the processes related to Sand System, Core shop, Moulding, Closing, Shakeout, and sand reclamation systems
• Drive process improvements
• Evaluate and propose use of new technology and equipment
• Work with equipment and material vendors to resolve machine and material issues.
• Manpower Planning & Handling
  
  

Experience and required competencies:

Minimum 5-7 year’s of experience in same field. Hands on working in Manganese Steel Fettling will be desirable

Integrity /Accountability /Teamwork /Innovation

Education: BE Mech./Diploma or relevant fields.
