GENERAL ASSIGNMENTS
Test Engineer will be tasked for Screw Analysis under his/her responsibility
Within the assigned perimeter given by his department manager and project leader, perform Screw Analysis and failure analysis by following company standards and rules.
Prepare And Analyse Metallographic Samples, If Required
Prepare the Test Report as per Company norms
Respect the test standards and QMS, Also support to improve the Test Standards and QMS system
Soft Skills
Good Report writing/communication skills
Good as a team member
Good in Equipment and Lab maintenance.
Contribute to quality improvement.
Required Competencies
Good knowledge in Fastener Technology
Good knowledge in Power tools used for fasteners
Good knowledge in mechanical assembly & disassembly process.
Good knowledge in fasteners manufacturing technology
Good knowledge in fasteners coating technology.
Good knowledge ISO standards related to fasteners.
Knowledge in mechatronic processes is appreciated
Knowledge in optical microscopy, micro and macro cutting, mechanical defects
Knowledge on Test Standards
General knowledge in material analysis techniques (metallographic section preparation, mechanical testing (shear/pull tests)) shall be a plus
Ability to repeat tasks with constant precision,Strong Basic Engineering knowledge
Experience / Training / Qualifications Required
BE in Mechanical/Material/Metallurgy from a reputed college
Experience In Fastener Failure Analysis
Experience in handling Test benches.
Experience In Working In a Laboratory Environment Or Setup
Experience with Industrial Laboratory Standard and documentation
Material sciences and Process knowledge shall be appreciated
