About The Opportunity
The Structural Design Engineer will serve on structural design projects relating to Ports and Harbours. She/he will perform structural analysis and design of structures which are present in a typical port under the supervision of a senior engineer.
The Successful Candidate Shall Possess Knowledge And Experience In
Analysis and design of concrete/steel structures.
Interacting with CAD draftsmen for preparation and checking of drawings.
Key Capabilities And Qualities Should Include
Should be proficient in use of STAAD Pro software.
Should be willing to work outside normal work hours if required by project schedule
Should be a team player.

Qualifications & Skills
A Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is essential.
Master’s degree with specialisation in Structural Engineering or Offshore Engineering or Marine Structures will be preferred.
About 5-10 years of experience after graduation/post-graduation in a design engineer role, with minimum experience of 5 years in analysis & design of concrete structures. Experience in design of marine structures is preferred.
Knowledge of calculating all the various loads acting on marine structures is preferred.
Basic knowledge of Indian codes and standards is expected.
Knowledge of various EURO/ACI Codes will be preferred.
Should have awareness of individual capability limitations and technical competence.
Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
Good communication skills are desirable.
