We are the Infrastructure Software team at Silicon Labs, a pioneer in secure, intelligent wireless technology, shaping a more connected world. Our team comprises highly skilled software engineers collaborating closely with the Validation, SQA, and Embedded Software teams. We focus on developing tools, services, platforms, and processes to enhance engineering efficiency and scalability. Our expertise spans various domains, including object-oriented desktop applications, web apps, and database tools.
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer-I to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining platforms and services that enable our internal teams to work more efficiently, as well as developing and enhancing our frontend and backend applications. You will be working with cutting-edge technologies and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization.

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer-I to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining platforms and services that enable our internal teams to work more efficiently, as well as developing and enhancing our frontend and backend applications. You will be working with cutting-edge technologies and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization.
What will you do?
- Design, develop, and maintain event-driven microservices, reactive frontends, and internal frameworks.
- Collaborate with other teams to understand their needs and build solutions to meet those needs.
- Develop software primarily in Python, but make use of other languages when appropriate
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, staging, and production environments.
- Participate in agile development processes and focus on improving team velocity.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
- BS/MS in EE/ECE/CS or similar
- 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Substantial object-oriented programming knowledge in Python, Java, C#, or C++
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and a passion for delivering high-quality code
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with building REST API services in Python or Node.js
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or VueJS
- Knowledge of databases and data management
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and microservices.
- Understanding of automated test environments for hardware validation or software QA
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
