Job Purpose The Electrical Engineer Reliability ensures optimal performance and uptime of electrical systems, including power distribution and protection. The role involves diagnostics, testing, and maintenance to enhance reliability and reduce operational downtime.

Job Accountabilities

  • Ensure reliability of electrical systems and power electronics.
  • Monitor performance and lead troubleshooting during failures.
  • Apply advanced diagnostics and predictive testing.
  • Support reliability practices, system upgrades, and maintenance planning.
  • Manage protection systems, relay settings, and testing.
  • Maintain electrical lab, execute maintenance schedules, and support shutdowns.
  • Ensure vendor inspections, statutory compliance, and documentation.

Education

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • 3-8 years in electrical maintenance and diagnostics
  • Skilled in protection relays, power electronics, and reliability tools
  • Familiar with shutdown planning, SMPs, and SAP/CMMS systems

Key Competencies & Skills

  • Electrical reliability, diagnostics, and workshop practices
  • Knowledge of codes, safety, and protection systems
  • RCA, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Compliance, audit readiness, and decision-making
