Key Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and control the execution and deliver software with desired quality
• Creative design engineer able to develop products in accordance with key objectives: stability/reliability, functionality, ease-of-use, and value to our customers.
• Team player that works effectively with a cross functional team including Product Management, and Quality to achieve product goals.
• Define and uphold high coding standards to ensure no vulnerabilities are introduced and the code written is highly maintainable, extensible, and secure.
• Provide technical guidance to other members of the team
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Participate in code reviews, daily standup meetings and feature planning
  
  

Required Skills (Technical Competency)

• Expertise in the requirement analysis, design, development and testing of the firmware applications using in C and C++.
• Experience in serial protocols UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, DAC etc.
• Experience in ELF, linker files
• Experience in JTAG debugging.
• Experience in a unit testing environment (e.g., Catch test)
• Understanding of object-oriented design paradigms and software modelling
• ARM Cortex-R and Cortex-M (ARMv7-M/R) architecture knowledge
• Embedded SW design background and experience in developing code with resource constrained devices
• Good knowledge of embedded device architecture and HW
• ARM assembler knowledge
• Able to write device drivers and BSP related code to embedded target
• Real-time operating systems knowledge (e.g. uC/OS, FreeRTOS)
• Experience in implementing Cyber Security features in firmware
  
  

Desired Skills

• Good to have experience in build process like SCONs
• Good to have experience in RTOS
• CI/CD, Jenkins is added advantage
• Knowledge/experience in power/industrial automation domain, power drives.
