Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Maintenance :
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and components to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Troubleshooting :
- Diagnose electrical problems and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Respond promptly to service calls for electrical issues, including power outages and equipment failures.
- Compliance and Safety :
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Follow safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for all staff and patients.
- Documentation :
- Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Report any safety hazards or electrical malfunctions to the maintenance supervisor.
- Collaboration :
- Work closely with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate repairs and ensure the smooth operation of hospital facilities.
- Assist in emergency response situations related to electrical systems.
