We are seeking a Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Vadodara. This full-time role requires at least 1 year of relevant work experience. The engineer will perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive activities while ensuring operational reliability and adherence to safety standards within Reliance Industries Limited.
Qualifications And Skills
- Strong expertise in root cause analysis, adept at identifying faults and determining underlying issues for effective resolution (Mandatory skill).
- Hands-on experience in electrical wiring, including installation, inspection, and ensuring compliance with technical standards (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in electrical testing; capable of systematically checking circuits, equipment, and system performance (Mandatory skill).
- Solid background in planning and executing preventive maintenance to maximize system uptime and equipment longevity.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work with detailed circuit diagrams and electrical schematics for problem solving and repairs.
- Knowledge and application of safety compliance protocols as per statutory and organizational requirements for electrical operations.
- Basic understanding of PLC programming with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot programmable logic controllers used in industrial environments.
- Exposure to HVAC systems maintenance, ensuring proper function and integration with site electrical infrastructure.
- Carry out scheduled and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, machinery, and control systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis for electrical failures and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Supervise and perform installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical wiring and components.
- Perform diagnostic and functional tests on electrical systems, using modern testing tools and safety procedures.
- Prepare, review, and update maintenance records, service reports, and technical documentation as per standards.
- Interpret circuit diagrams for troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure all electrical operations comply with internal and external safety regulations, reporting hazards and near-miss incidents.
- Assist in PLC programming adjustments and routine checks for seamless and optimized machine performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance processes and support site-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support HVAC systems electrical maintenance, ensuring coordinated and reliable operation within facility infrastructure.
