Electrical CAD Designer

Job Title: Electrical CAD Designer

Location: Bangalore, India

Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed electrical schematics and layouts using Cadence OrCAD.
• Translate and convert designs from other electrical CAD tools such as KiCAD.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date CAD drawings and documentation.
• Perform design reviews and provide feedback to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Assist in the development of PCB layouts, including component placement and routing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues and discrepancies.
• Participate in project planning and provide input on design timelines and milestones.
• Ensure all designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in CAD tools and technologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical CAD Designer, with a strong focus on Cadence OrCAD.
• Proficiency in creating and modifying electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Solid understanding of electrical design principles and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other CAD tools and software.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, low noise, and EMC/EMI considerations.
