Editorial Graphic Designer (Remote)

Love designing visuals that make stories stand out? Then this might be for you. Please read the role carefully - we’re specifically hiring for editorial and social content design, not web design.

What you will be doing:

• Design featured images, infographics, and visuals that enhance our news and feature articles.
• Create graphics, banners, and posters for social media platforms (X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Work closely with journalists, editors, and the content team to translate stories and data into visuals that are engaging and easy to understand.
• Adapt graphics for multiple formats (web, mobile, social).
• Ensure brand consistency across all visual outputs.

What we are looking for:

• 3–5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within a digital publication, media house, or content-driven brand 
• Proven experience creating editorial visuals such as article thumbnails, infographics, social media posts, or story banners.
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar design software.
• Strong storytelling sense - ability to visualize complex topics in a clear and appealing way.
• A portfolio that highlights content-related design work 
• Ability to manage multiple design requests under tight deadlines.

Things to Note:

• This is a full-time remote role.
• You’ll be working closely with the content team and reporting to the Editor in Chief
• Working days: 5 days a week, with rotating weekends (updated every 3 months)
• Timings: 10 AM to 7PM IST
• Pay range: 4 LPA - 8 LPA
