Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

  • Hardware and software integration:
  • Assembling and integrating drone components.
  • Connecting and calibrating sensors (GPS, IMUs, etc.).
  • Ensuring communication between hardware and software.
  • Coding and development:
  • Writing, testing, and debugging code for flight control systems (e.g., in C/C++).
  • Developing scripts for mission planning or data analysis (e.g., in Python).
  • Working with flight stacks like PX4 or ArduPilot.
  • Testing and troubleshooting:
  • Conducting pre-flight inspections and safety checks.
  • Performing flight tests in both real-world and simulated environments.
  • Analyzing flight data and logs to identify performance issues.
  • Diagnosing and fixing hardware and software problems.
  • Documentation and research:
  • Maintaining detailed records of test procedures, results, and code changes.
  • Researching new technologies and industry trends.
  • Assisting in the creation of manuals and operational procedures.
  • Team collaboration:
  • Participating in team meetings and project discussions.
  • Working with senior engineers to implement new features or solutions.
  • Providing feedback and contributing to the overall product development cycle.
