Opportunity Overview
We at Teradyne Robotics, a division of Teradyne is seeking a dynamic and experienced South Asia Director, to lead our commercial operations across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. This role is responsible for driving growth via marketing for our portfolio of Universal Robots – Collaborative Robots (Cobots) and Mobile Industrial Robots – Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation or robotics, a proven track record in channel development leadership, and the ability to build and execute regional strategies that align with our global vision.
He/she is part of the management team and reports to the Vice President of Sales, APAC.

Strategic Leadership
- Support regional growth targets (orders and revenue).
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive market penetration and growth.
- Lead and manage the regional team and channel partners (Distributors, System Integrators, OEMs) to grow new End-User Accounts while maintaining existing ones.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive long-term success.
- Expand and optimize the partner ecosystem across South Asia.
- Implement partner enablement programs to ensure technical and commercial readiness.
- Monitor partner performance and provide coaching and support to maximize results.
- Collaborate with regional and global marketing teams to localize campaigns and generate leads.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements.
- Drive brand awareness and thought leadership in the South Asia region.
- Ensure high-quality post-sales support and service delivery through partners and internal teams.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

- 10+ years of experience in leadership roles, preferably in robotics, automation, or industrial technology.
- Strong understanding of channel models and partner ecosystems.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Robust analytical skills and strategy development.
- Able to hold and conduct tough conversations.
- Holistic and forward-thinking mindset.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- The position is open for Bangalore location, which is HQ for Robotics in India.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
