The Wealth Management Platforms organization manages digital platforms and experiences across the Advisor, Workplace and Direct channels, ensuring that our capabilities lead the industry and are delivered and integrated seamlessly.
Position Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst to join the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Field Business Management Platforms team. The Field Business Management Platforms team defines and drives the internal teaming, joint production and revenue reporting experiences for Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors, Branch Managers and Support Professionals. In the Business Analyst role, you will inform direction and contribute to the creation and on-going success of the latest field business management tools for our Wealth Management Field Users. This role will focus specifically on supporting product owners on the Field Business Management and Finance Fleet to help execute against business objectives and deliver on the product roadmap for Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management Field Business Management organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help define and launch engaging consumer-facing experiences and apply your knowledge and subject matter expertise in financial services, wealth management, financial planning, investment advice, and digital experiences/technologies to create and launch innovative processes and platforms for Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management Field.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to help define and launch engaging consumer-facing experiences and apply your knowledge and subject matter expertise in financial services, wealth management, financial planning, investment advice, and digital experiences/technologies to create and launch innovative processes and platforms for Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management Field.
Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following
- Execute product owner role and prioritization of product roadmap, release planning, and development and communication of business requirements
- Assist with critical user journeys, use cases, workflows, and business processes that align with the product vision/goals and address critical user and control needs
- Support prioritized product backlog identify, groom, and validate epics and user stories for agile sprints.
- Assist with backlog refinement and sprint planning ceremonies to communicate requirements
- Specify acceptance criteria, review testing cases/scenarios and perform and oversee user acceptance testing as needed.
- Analyse, define, and manage data flows/models and diverse datasets to define requirements and expected behaviour for Morgan Stanley's digital planning solutions
- Work closely with the technology team to assure effective communication of requirements and rapid delivery of key product releases.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders from business, technology, UX, risk, cyber & fraud, communications, legal & compliance to elicit requirements
- Prepare presentations, user demos, and status updates
- Gather, organize, and assimilate internal and external feedback to identify and prioritize product gaps, enhancements, and new features
- Collaborate with UI/UX team to develop information/interaction architecture, user flows, wireframes, and visual design comps
- Team up with program management office to effectively organize and plan product releases
- Define, collect, and track KPIs and product/program adoption and usage metrics evangelize for adoption
- Develop and maintain a system for measuring the success of these products and experiences, using data-driven insights to refine and improve solutions continually
- Define the vision, product strategy, and roadmap for the product portfolio by conducting rigorous analysis to identify the unique needs and pain points of mid-market small businesses and transforming those insights into actionable deliverables
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree will be a plus.
- 7 - 9 years of experience as a software business or systems analyst with track record of delivering new innovative web or mobile applications within an agile/scrum development process
- Proven track record of delivering successful digital products on time and within scope.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
