The Role
As a Google Ads Specialist focused on D2C brand growth, you’ll help eCommerce businesses scale through data-driven paid advertising strategies. Your role involves planning, executing, and optimizing campaigns to maximize ROAS and increase conversions. A key part of this role is conducting comprehensive account audits, identifying inefficiencies in bidding, targeting, and budget allocation to ensure every ad dollar is spent efficiently. You’ll analyse campaign structure, audience segmentation, conversion tracking, and competitor benchmarks to uncover opportunities for scaling and performance improvements.

Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Optimization
- Plan, execute, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max to maximize ROAS.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience segmentation, and bid strategy optimization to enhance performance.
- Continuously analyse campaign data, A/B test ad creatives, and refine targeting for better conversion rates.
- Monitor daily ad spend, quality score, CTR, and other key performance indicators, making real-time adjustments.
- Management Set up, manage, and optimize Google Merchant Centre accounts for Google Shopping and Performance Max campaigns.
- Ensure product feed compliance, resolving disapprovals, errors, and policy violations to maintain uninterrupted ad delivery.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate GMC with Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, and other eCommerce platforms.
- Perform comprehensive audits of existing Google Ads and Merchant Centre accounts, analysing campaign structure, feed quality, bidding strategies, and performance data.
- Identify inefficiencies, wasted ad spend, and areas for optimization and scaling.
- Provide detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations to improve account health and performance.
- Stay updated on Google’s algorithm changes, ad policies, and new features to refine advertising strategies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, pain points, and advertising objectives.
- Provide monthly/weekly performance reports, insights, and data-backed recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot campaign and Merchant Centre issues, resolving tracking errors, disapprovals, and policy violations.
- Educate clients on Google Ads best practices and emerging trends to improve their ad performance.
- Create and present customized Google Ads and Google Shopping audit reports and strategy proposals tailored to client objectives.
- Assist in proposal creation, pitching strategies, and negotiating contracts to close deals.
- Recommend cross-platform advertising strategies incorporating Meta Ads, Bing Ads, and other paid channels for a holistic approach.
- Coordinate with the creative team to develop high-performing ad copies, banners, and video creatives.
- Work with the web development and analytics teams to improve landing page experience and conversion rates.
- 4+ years of experience in Google Ads campaign management, Google Shopping, and Merchant Centre optimization, preferably in an eCommerce or digital marketing environment.
- Strong expertise in Google Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max campaigns.
- Proven ability to audit, optimize, and scale ad accounts, manage large budgets, and drive high ROI.
- Hands-on experience with Google Merchant Centre, feed optimization, and resolving GMC disapprovals.
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking setup.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate audit reports, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
- Bonus: Experience in Meta Ads, Performance Max scaling, and AI-driven ad strategies.
