This is a pivotal role to bring synergy between the head quarter and the country business to achieve the aspirational objectives and leadership in China market. The candidate expected to demonstrate the leadership qualities to accomplish the task working with all cross functional stake holders and display the strategic mindset to design appropriate business model working with country head.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on appropriate business strategies and models for formulation business development in concurrence with the leadership team and implement those for increasing business scale, market leadership and profitability.
  • Ensure all support to China subsidiary business and Joint venture business operations working with respective cross functional team and senior leadership based on the day to day requirements
  • Work with country business team to create new business leads, support to convert those leads to business opportunities and close the deals with desired result.
  • Work with corporate regulatory team, backend team and China team to monitor and ensure timely submission of the product for registration.
  • Master cultural sensitivity and demonstrate relationship capabilities to facilitate the successful completion of various projects dealing with the external authorities and resolve any issues which can impact the performance of the projects.
  • Implement various contracts, address conflicts if any and ensure compliance with the country’s regulation and policies closely working with attorneys and corporate legal team.
  • Lead operational support for product launches to drive sales growth and profitability.
  • Engage with business partners for superior sales performance closely working with marketing team and tap the potential opportunities.
  • Ensure the timely supply of the products to the distributors/marketing partners and oversee the internal process for swift turn around time for adequate inventories.
  • Work on country sales budgeting, review P&L and all time command on the receivables

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor/Masters in Pharmacy /Life Sciences / Chemistry domain
  • MBA in Marketing / Operations
