Role Purpose

The job requires working in an Agile / DevOps environment, alongside a dynamic, multiskilled team of Engineers, Developers and QA’s to provide 24/7 operational support, including incident and stakeholder management for the various systems and applications. You will design, build, implement and deliver scalable Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions. This role will be responsible for owning, designing, and optimizing cost and use of our cloud infrastructure environment and building out automation using Infrastructure as Code techniques

Relevant Experience

• 4 Years of relevant experience
• Minimum 4 years in Azure cloud
• Minimum 3 years in using IOC Platforms like Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, amongst others.
• Experience designing and supporting large-scale Azure environments
• Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipeline automation advantageous
• O365 Administration experience advantageous
• Dynamics 365 experience advantageous
  
  

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities/Kras/Kpis

• Implement enterprise level Azure IaaS solutions and recommend PAAS and SAAS where applicable.
• Align solutions to platform, data, cloud and reference architecture patterns and capabilities.
• Ensure appropriate implementation of technology following all standards and best practices.
• Drive execution for large business initiatives including documentation, roadmaps, communication, and alignment of domain architecture into business, technical plan.
• Share Azure best practices, lessons learned and constantly update foundational teammates based on changing technologies, and knowledge related to recent,
  
  

current, and upcoming Azure Cloud capabilities.

• Review environment regularly for security, reliability, efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Conduct research on environmental issues and propose technical solutions based on foundational initiatives.
• Provide Azure engineering support to operations and foundational teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide guidance to technical leadership regarding future issue prevention.
• Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to all stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver on agreements made with stakeholders to ensure that expectations are managed.
• Make recommendations to improve stakeholder engagement.
• Participate and contribute to the culture by living the values.

Mandatory Skills

• Technical prowess in automation and deployment tools as well as scripting (Python/Bash/Powershell) and markup languages
• Strong understanding of enterprise-level Storage, Compute and Networking concepts and technologies
• Experience as a Systems Engineer for a major technology implementation
• Experience with Scripting and markup languages
• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud Security (NSG, RBAC, Service-to-Service interactions and least privilege

• Knowledge and implementation of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Performance Tuning best practices
• Experience with Windows and Linux Server Systems running in Azure IaaS environment
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and routing, Firewall management (FortiGate) and other Networking.
• Experience with Azure data layer services such as Azure SQL (IaaS and PaaS), CosmosDB, NoSQL, Queueing and Eventing, DataLake, and Machine Learning services
• Familiarity with Azure hierarchal fundamentals consisting of management groups, subscriptions, and resource groups
• Familiarity with Infrastructure and application monitoring tools like Azure Monitor/ New Relic/ Datadog,etc
• Understanding of Miscrosoft Power platform environments and D365 is an advantage.
