Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Manager with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Team Foundation Server to lead our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing cloud infrastructure, driving automation strategies, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based applications. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline deployments, optimize performance, and establish best practices for cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Develop and implement DevOps strategies to improve efficiency, scalability, and security.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
• Manage and optimize Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters and containerized applications.
• Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, and Stackdriver.
• Ensure system reliability and scalability by applying industry best practices.
• Optimize cloud cost management and performance for GCP resources.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) for version control, project management, and CI/CD automation.
• Establish and enforce IAM roles, security policies, and compliance across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application deployments and troubleshooting.
• Oversee Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and other GCP services to support business needs.
• Define and maintain high availability and disaster recovery strategies using Cloud Storage, Cloud DNS, and backup solutions.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, and Cloud Storage.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team building, mentorship, and performance management.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Cloud Build, Microsoft TFS).
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Bash for automation.
• Expertise in monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Stackdriver).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security best practices, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with DevSecOps principles and cloud security implementations.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience managing hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of serverless computing (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading DevOps transformations.
