Your role will bridge the gap between concept and production, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Working with pump, compressor or any other surface package industry.
- Following technical drawing standards.
- Focus on engineering principles, manufacturing processes and material standards.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Experience & Education
Required
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Structural Engineering or similar discipline from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of Mechanical, Structural, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
- Experience in a fabrication environment. Knowledge of various welding and machining methods.
- Proficient in PTC Creo (Pro/Engineer) is MUST.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed to support operations and manufacturing.
- Experience with Oilfield operations and in particular Artificial Lift Systems.
- Experience working in field operations providing failure analysis, technical support or field trials.
- Proficiency in welded component design.
- Proficiency in structural design and analysis.
- Proficiency in using PTC Windchill/PDM system and Mathcad is added advantage.
- Familiarity with API / EN machinery directives/ Canadian electric code.
