You will be responsible for managing and executing engineering design projects, ensuring that product development meets technical specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines. Your role will bridge the gap between concept and production, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Working with pump, compressor or any other surface package industry.
- Following technical drawing standards.
- Focus on engineering principles, manufacturing processes and material standards.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Experience & Education
Required
- Diploma in mechanical/Structural Engineering or similar discipline from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of Mechanical, Structural, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
- Experience in a fabrication environment. Knowledge of various welding and machining methods.
- Proficient in PTC Creo (Pro/Engineer) is MUST.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed to support operations and manufacturing.
- Experience with Oilfield operations and in particular Artificial Lift Systems.
- Experience working in field operations providing failure analysis, technical support or field trials.
- Proficiency in welded component design.
- Proficiency in structural design and analysis.
- Proficiency in using PTC Windchill/PDM system and Mathcad is added advantage.
- Familiarity with API / EN machinery directives/ Canadian electric code.
