Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Front line sales activity – Visiting customers for generation of Inquiries. Responsible for Food & Beverages sales pan India Cluster (Mainly Food)
  • Business Development for Relevant GEA Technologies in Food Industry
  • Generating Revenue of about 5 Mn Euro Per Annum
  • Technology Presentation to the Customer
  • Screening of generated/received inquiries for Bid/no bid decision.
  • Entering the project inquiry details into the CRM
  • Co-ordination with Sales support team and with customers to get clear understanding of the requirement,
  • Preparation of risk reports for projects
  • Preparation of the commercial offer in line with GEA standard T&C’s, Compiling of the techno-commercial offer and submission to the customer
  • Participation in customer meetings for Prebid discussions, customer presentations, post bid clarifications, contract negotiation meetings
  • Post Order activities – arranging ABG, performance security as part of contractual obligations for availing advance, Work order, Project hand over meeting, change orders, collection of BG’s submitted towards EMD

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree of Chemical engineering (preferable)/Food Engineering
  • Experience of working for 10+ yrs. in relevant field
  • Prior experience of front sales
  • Process & Industry Knowledge is must
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to carry people.
  • Technical knowhow, and end-to-end process expertise.
  • Open minded to new models, ideas and innovation
