Who You Are

Role & Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility of understanding the process, extraction of relevant data from SAP to identify outliers, analyze the root cause, suggest the corrective solutions and process improvements.
• Review and approve the lease contract creations and modifications performed by team in SAP.
• Perform variance analysis between REFX and GL balances of ROU & Lease liability.
• Review & reconcile complex accounts, and proactively create/improve processes
• Ensure accounting records, monthly accounting close activities, and variance analyses are adequately and properly prepared, maintained and explained in a timely manner
• Understand and analyze Business as Usual (BAU) processes to simplify and automate.
• Take initiatives to identify process risks, define relevant controls to prevent, or detect, and correct those risks.
• Perform quality reviews of voluminous data and correct, as required
• Actively participate in cross-functional projects to thoroughly understand the potential impacts on accounting and our business partners, represent our needs/requirements and ensure implementation is successful.
  
  

Required Qualification / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of experience in accounting or audit.
• CA / CMA / CPA / ACCA and Big 4 audit experience preferred, added advantage
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts, and IFRS 16
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and data driven mindset.
• Great attention to detail
• Understanding and experience of SAP RE-FX module, added advantage.
• Previous experience with Journal Entries and General Ledger Variance Analysis
• Good verbal and written communications with stakeholders
• Power BI, Power Automate certification, added advantage
