Major Purpose Of The Job

 To ensure delivery of the material : At Right Time, From Approved Vendor, With Right Quality,

At Right Cost.

 Alternate vendor development for supply comfort / improved quality and cost advantage

 Correspondence with internal and external customers.

 Handling delivery deviations/ shortages / rejections and arrange replacements.

 To address saving targets as decided by management.

Principal Tasks And Responsibilities

 To receive indents from supply chain, and convert it in to purchase orders in S.A.P. in stipulated

time frame.

 To resolve indent related queries in terms of Qty / Pack size with consultation of supply chain if

any.

 To Float Enquiries to vendors for new / existing items, preparing quote comparisons.

 To Negotiate best rate with vendors.

 To send purchase orders to vendors through email / courier /fax etc….

 To confirm the delivery date from vendors & accordingly follow up on regular basis.

 To inform rejection to concern vendor in standard format, arranging replacements and CAPA.

 Maintaining records of required documents.

 Daily information to concern regarding delivery deviation / shortages / rejections of material etc

 To Co-ordinate with Stores Dept. for GRN / CoA or any other issues related to inward of goods.

 To Co-ordinate with QC for release of materials as per specifications whenever required

 To Co-ordinate with concerned vendors for any issue related to quality / Invoices / Regulatory

Requirements

 Checking Supplier Invoices & Forwarding to Finance Dept.

 Special one time projects / MIS reports generation as required by superiors

 Any other actions and responsibilities as agreed with Management

all actions
