Key Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
Lead investigation and root cause analysis of OS&D events, ensuring timely closure of deviations and implementation of effective CAPAs.
Drive process optimization projects to reduce material variances, overages, and production losses across facilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, QC, SCM, Manufacturing, Engineering) to improve systems for material handling, storage, and reconciliation.
Establish metrics and dashboards to track OS&D trends and performance improvement.
Implement risk assessment tools (FMEA, RCA, etc.) to proactively mitigate process risks.
Coordinate with Quality and Compliance teams to support regulatory inspections and audits.
Provide technical leadership for scale-up and tech transfer processes, ensuring seamless transition and minimal material loss.
Train and mentor process engineering teams to strengthen technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders for evaluation and implementation of new technologies to enhance process efficiency.
Ensure adherence to all safety and compliance regulations related to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
