- Expertise in designing highly available, scalable, and secure AWS solutions.
- Deep understanding of VPC, subnets, routing, load balancers, NAT gateways.
- Multi-account architecture with AWS Organizations & Control Tower.
- EC2, Auto Scaling, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda (serverless).
- EBS, EFS, S3, Glacier (storage lifecycle management).
- CloudFront, Route 53, API Gateway, Direct Connect, Global Accelerator.
- IAM, Organizations, SCPs, KMS, Secrets Manager.
- Security best practices (CIS, NIST, Well-Architected Framework).
- Cloud security monitoring with GuardDuty, Inspector, Security Hub.
- Implementing compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
- RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle), Aurora.
- DynamoDB, ElastiCache, Neptune.
- Redshift, Athena, Glue, EMR, Kinesis.
- AWS CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform (multi-cloud).
- Automated deployments and self-healing infrastructure.
- SSM (Systems Manager) for patching and automation.
- AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy.
- Integration with GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
- Containerization: ECS, EKS (Kubernetes), Fargate, Docker.
- CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudTrail for observability.
- Cost optimization with Trusted Advisor, Cost Explorer, and Budgets.
- Incident & disaster recovery (backup/restore, DR drills, cross-region replication).
- Migration tools: AWS Migration Hub, DMS, SMS.
- Hybrid solutions (Outposts, Storage Gateway, Direct Connect).
- Application re-platforming and modernization.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to explain technical concepts to business leaders.
- Mentoring and training teams on AWS best practices
- Proven expertise in both AWS and Azure cloud platforms (certifications preferred).
- Strong experience in cloud architecture, networking, and security.
- Hands-on experience with cloud migration projects (lift & shift, re-platforming, re-architecting).
- Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps).
- Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and incident management (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK, etc.).
- Experience in identity and access management (Azure AD, AWS IAM, SSO, MFA).
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Additional certifications in security, networking, or DevOps are a plus
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
