Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of personal loan accounts and ensure timely collection of payments
  • Monitor and track delinquent accounts and take necessary actions to minimize losses
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers in accordance with bank policies and procedures
  • Conduct field visits to customers' homes or workplaces to collect payments and resolve any issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities
  • Collaborate with other departments such as credit, legal, and risk to develop strategies for effective debt management
  • Provide regular reports and updates on portfolio performance to senior management
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to debt management and collections


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in debt management or collections, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of personal loan products and collections processes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle a large portfolio of accounts
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software
  • Willingness to travel for field visits as required
