About The Role

This role is working with the Central Operations Team in our UK Retail business. Our team is the engine room of our retail business, supporting our 1200 company and independently dealer owned stores. We are a small but crucial team, and this role plays an integral part in ensuring all our stores remain operational.

The Dealer and 3rd Party Relationship Coordinator co-ordinates various operational activities including handling suppliers & third parties that support our operation (such as providing uniforms, collecting waste and supplying consumables like coffee cups, price labels, cleaning equipment & carrier bags) to ensure that all our stores receive excellent service, as well as driving value for bp by identifying cost savings and efficiencies. This role also supports our dealer business by handling contracts and coordinating the activities completed by our service centre in Budapest.

This role will be key in supporting the business to successfully balance the delivery of consistent operational completion with implementing change and growth.

What You Will Deliver

Initiating and participation in tenders for services, materials and equipment as operations subject matter authority.

Ensuring all updates and performance from third party suppliers is supervised and shared

Management of third party contracts across all channels of trade to include but not limited to consumables, waste management, uniforms, hygiene services, car parking and cash collection. This will include developing and owning joint business plans and holding on or offsite reviews, as required by contract size.

Maintaining and negotiating contracts with core partners and service providers .Vendor management including set up and orders

Deal promptly with Dealer disputes and issues to secure payments and resolution through partner concern

Support in signing off and preparation of all dealer and franchise contracts and other agreements, ready to be then stored and maintained by our service centre.

Be responsible for control of invoices generated in SAP for franchise fees, marketing and promotional services, and utilities invoices

Responsible for the interface leadership of the Dealer support element of our service centre to ensure dealers receive the required service level including regular auditing/spot checking of contracts and all associated activities carried out by our service centre.This will include supporting our site support

You Will Work With

Central Ops is a small team of six covering a diverse range of roles, from communications to labour scheduling as well as managing process and workload and measuring customer happiness. We have very different backgrounds but our skills compliment each together so that we collaborate in the best way to ensure our customer is kept front of mind, and we always have lots of fun! This role involves working with lots of partners across our business, from store teams, dealer account managers, procurement as well as senior leaders, and not forgetting our external third party suppliers. Overall this makes the role very multifaceted as you will maintain many different relationships and build a diverse network within bp.
