- Design, implement, and optimize database structures to support business applications and data-driven decision-making processes
- Manage and maintain multiple database management systems, including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL
- Develop and execute database queries, stored procedures, and functions while ensuring data security and integrity
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize system efficiency
- Perform regular database backups, develop disaster recovery plans, and conduct data migrations as needed
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate database systems with applications and stay current with emerging database technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3-5 years of experience in database administration
- Proficiency in multiple database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) with strong SQL programming skills
- In-depth knowledge of database design, implementation, optimization, data modeling, and security best practices
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
