Role Purpose

The Data Scientist will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models that solve complex business problems. The role also involves data analysis, pipeline development, stakeholder engagement, and identifying opportunities for infrastructure and process improvements.

Requirements

Total Experience

• 4 years
  
  

Relevant Experience

• At least 3 years of Data Science experience
• 2+ years of experience in model building, deployment, and maintenance
• Deep Learning experience
• Cloud experience is a MUST
• Databricks experience is a plus
  
  

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/KRAs/KPIs

• Build, deploy and maintain machine learning models that solve complex business problems.
• Adhere to stringent quality assurance and documentation standards using version control and code repositories (e.g., Git, GitHub, Markdown)
• Build, manipulate and analyse large and complex datasets to deliver actionable insights to key stakeholders
• Communicate with stakeholders to assist with their data-related queries.
• Identify areas for improvement in our data infrastructure, ways of work etc
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Identify, design & implement internal process improvements like automating processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure, etc.
• Deliver end-to-end pipelines that result in a successful project delivery. Encapsulating all elements, from data sourcing, to modelling and deployment, to reporting and visualisation.
• Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
