Data Science & Analytics Manager, Central Flow

Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Science & Analytics Manager with expertise in SQL, Python, web portal development, Amazon Quicksight dashboarding, and data science principles. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in analytics, data management, and web application development. This role requires a highly analytical, solution-oriented professional who can drive insights and lead data-driven initiatives to support decision-making across departments.

Key job responsibilities

• Data Management and Analysis
• Develop and manage complex SQL queries to manipulate and extract data from large databases for analysis.
• Use Python for data processing, analysis, and automation to provide actionable insights and maintain data quality.
• Web Portal Development
• Design, develop, and maintain web portals for data visualization, user interaction, and information sharing.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end development teams to ensure seamless user experience and functionality.
• Dashboarding and Visualization
• Build and maintain Amazon QuickSight dashboards to visualize data and support real-time decision-making.
• Design clear and intuitive dashboards that provide users with comprehensive insights into business and operational metrics.
• Data Science and Advanced Analytics
• Apply data science methodologies and statistical analysis to interpret trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Implement machine learning models and predictive analytics to enhance business forecasting and decision-making.
• Project Leadership
• Oversee data projects from inception to completion, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and implementation.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while meeting high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Stakeholder Communication
• Partner with business teams to understand analytical needs and deliver insights in a clear and impactful way.
• Train and mentor junior analysts and team members in SQL, Python, QuickSight, and data science concepts.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with one or more query language (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala)
• Experience with one or more scripting language (e.g., Python, KornShell)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
• Experience with any ETL tool like, Informatica, ODI, SSIS, BODI, Datastage, etc.
