Job Specification

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Quality Analyst to join our team. As a Data Quality Analyst, you will play a vital role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex requirements. This will form the evolving Data Quality journey, program deployment, training support and data culture improvements. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to identify business needs, route cause analysis, design quality improvement analysis based on process design, and present findings in a clear and concise manner. The ideal candidate has a strong business partnership mindset with experience of data quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain key relationships across the Apex Data ownership roles such as Champion’s and Data Trustees' landscape.
• To facilitate workshops around data quality training needs, data culture and where business requirements can be recorded, maintained and formed.
• To be responsible for the data quality register.
• To act as key SME in the Data Governance team around data quality.
• Analysing key metrics around data quality and providing context to data quality reporting
• To facilitate and act as business partner to Internal stakeholders regarding data quality, potential remediation planning & activities, process design to improve data quality and help maintain the categorisation of data quality in the central Data governance platform.
• To maintain the Data Glossary in relation to improving data quality context and useability in the Data Governance platform.
• To support the Head of operational Data Governance within the area of Data Quality.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Competent in designing data quality standards, metrics and guides.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in using agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of multi-data domain data Governance concepts and polices.
• Experience of forming data quality improvement pathways
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills (not Required But Considered a Plus)

• Experience of Informatica
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA).
• Knowledge of data management approaches such as DAMA / EDM or DCAM.
