Data Modeler/SQL Developer with SSRS

About The Role

HTC Global Services is seeking an experienced Data Modeler/SQL Developer to design and implement robust database solutions. The candidate will collaborate with data architects and database developers to build data models that support enterprise information management. This position is ideal for a professional who can contribute immediately, with preference given to candidates available to start soon.

Requirements

• Collaborate with teams to analyze business needs and develop long-term data modeling solutions.
• Create conceptual data models and data flows to align with business requirements.
• Implement physical data models and optimize local and metadata models.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and evaluate data systems for efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage metadata effectively using industry-standard tools.
• Develop and tune SSRS reports, ensuring high performance.
• Perform basic DBA tasks, including database backup/restore and assigning 5+ years of hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling.
• Strong understanding of SQL, including query optimization, execution plans, and performance tuning.
• Proficient with SQL Server (2008R2, 2012, 2014, 2019) and T-SQL.
• Ability to write and optimize SQL queries, create CTEs, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
• Solid experience in SSRS report development and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with database administration tasks (backup/restore, roles, permissions).
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and dimensional table relationships.
