About the Role
As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making by designing and maintaining impactful dashboards and reports. The position blends technical expertise with creative design, ensuring insights are not only accurate but also visually engaging and easy to interpret. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, support business stakeholders, and bring innovative data storytelling to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop visually compelling dashboards, reports, and analytics deliverables using Tableau.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Own, enhance, and maintain existing Tableau dashboards, ensuring accuracy, usability, and scalability.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across platforms.
- Monitor performance of dashboards and optimize data sources for efficiency.
- Educate team members and stakeholders on data literacy, dashboard use, and best practices.
- Stay updated on new trends in data visualization, UX/UI, and analytics to continuously improve reporting practices.
Candidate Profile
- Strong passion for data storytelling—communicating insights through engaging, polished dashboards.
- Knowledge of visual design principles, UX/UI, and data storytelling best practices.
- Proven hands-on experience with Tableau, SQL, and Excel/SmartSheets.
- Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and a future-focused mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver successful projects in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
- Tableau certifications or similar credentials are preferred.
- Exposure to visual design and UX/UI concepts is a plus.
Onboarding Journey
- 30 Days: Complete onboarding, security training, and familiarize with existing dashboards and processes.
- 60 Days: Take ownership of dashboards, propose improvements, and begin creating new solutions.
- 90 Days: Lead advanced dashboard designs, automate reporting tasks, and train teams on data tools.
