Data Analyst/ Analytics Engineer

You’ll be the first data hire at uEngage. Your job is to turn millions of restaurant and consumer data points into insights that power decision-making across sales, ops, product, and CRM. You’ll set up data infra, build dashboards, and uncover patterns that improve business outcomes.

- Work with tech team to extract & clean data from MySQL, Mongo, and APIs
- Build dashboards and reports across CRM, delivery (Flash), app funnel
- Partner with finance team to automate metrics like CAC, LTV, retention
- Support sales and marketing with campaign ROI and cohort insights
- Set up foundational BI tools (e.g., Metabase / Looker Studio)
- Define and maintain data dictionaries and documentation
- SQL ninja – can write complex queries with joins, CTEs, etc.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
- Strong understanding of business KPIs like CAC, AOV, retention
- Ability to own data from extraction to visualization
- Curious mindset with a bias toward impact, not just numbers
- Experience with dbt or other data modeling tools
- Exposure to ML basics or predictive modeling
- Understanding of restaurant or logistics industry data
- Get in early and shape the data culture at a bootstrapped, profitable startup
- Direct visibility and impact on product roadmap + ops efficiency
- Work with a founder-led team building for Tier 2 India at scale
- Play a key role in launching AI-first CRM and logistics products
