We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Analyst
Business: GCIO
Principal Responsibilities
- Manage the build of insights and data assets aligned to business outcomes and strategic data models.
- Manage the gathering of detailed data requirements from stakeholders to deliver analytics use cases.
- Manage the delivery of analytics point of contacts that allow our businesses and clients to identify new opportunities.
- Manage the leveraging of current and emerging data and analytical techniques to address business challenges in an actionable way.
- Manage the unlocking of opportunities to derive higher returns with improved Data Quality
- Manage uncovering of data inconsistencies across consuming systems.
- Adherence to the Data controls and Governance to check the movement of data.
- Look for ways to improve the current systems and processes and automating pipelines where possible.
- At least 7 years of experience with master’s degree or equivalent from reputed university with specialization in numerical discipline and / or concentration in computer science, information systems or other engineering specializations
- Strong analytical skills with business analysis aptitude. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations is advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge of programming in SQL, Python, Pandas, Pyspark and hands-on programming experience is must.
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing (AWS, GCP), Data Modeling, Adobe Analytics and or exposure to Data Quality assessment and control (IBM Market Data Management, Reference Data Management) is a plus.
- Knowledge of BI and Visualization tools like QlikSense/Tableau/Power BI is advantageous.
- Ability to comprehend intricate and diverse range of business problems and analyze them with limited or complex data and provide a feasible solution framework.
