Purpose of Role: As the Costing Officer - Manufacturing, you are responsible for managing and analyzing the cost structures of an organization. This role involves preparing budget reports, monitoring expenditures, and evaluating financial performance to support strategic decision-making
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost accounting reports and budgets.
- Analyze cost structures and financial performance.
- Monitor and report on cost variances and financial discrepancies.
- Coordinate with various departments to collect financial data.
- Assist in developing and implementing cost control measures.
- Provide detailed financial analysis to management for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of cost accounting or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in financial software SAP-FICO and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
