Costing Analyst

Ecolab is seeking a Costing Analyst to join our Finance team. The Costing Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing and controlling organizational costs to enhance profitability and efficiency. This position involves detailed cost analysis, budgeting support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate insights effectively.

What You Will Do

• Conduct detailed cost analysis.
• Prepare reports on cost trends, variances, and other profitability metrics.
• Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
• Investigate discrepancies between actual and budgeted/standard costs.
• Partner with, supply chain: procurement, logistics, manufacturing… teams to gather data and get insights
• Effectively communicate costing impacts to Divisions
• Monitor inventory valuation through the year
• Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and SOX compliance
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Business fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Bachelor’s degree in finance and / or accounting or relevant business experience
• 5 Years of experience in Finance
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze and summarize data and draw meaningful conclusions
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Familiarity with Power BI
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity/flexibility in collaborating with people of different backgrounds
• Result oriented, proactive, and possesses a high level of integrity.
• Self-motivated, and both detail and process oriented.
• Good team player
