As a Copy Editor, you’ll be reporting to Vice President, Quality Assurance. You’ll be relied on to review the quality of technical reports and assist with other deliverables. The role is a crucial step in the process of guaranteeing high-quality work for our clients. You’ll work with a large team of application-security experts, support roles, and directors.

Below are the roles and responsibilities for the Copy Editor, Cyber Risk in India:

Day To Day Responsibilities

  • Edit technical reports to ensure that they are written clearly, correctly, and consistently.
  • Work independently and with other members of the Quality Assurance team.
  • Follow an in-house style guide.
  • Flexible to work in 2pm to 11 pm shift as and when required.
  • The right candidate can avail remote working.

Essential Traits

  • A Bachelor of Literature/Arts in English, Communications, Journalism, Literature or in similar field.
  • The ability to meet deadlines with quick turnaround times and work strongly in a team setting.
  • An enthusiasm for learning about technological advancements in an everchanging field.
  • Excellent English-language reading comprehension, writing, and editing skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Outspoken & enthusiastic.

Prerequisites

  • Post-secondary education in copy editing and/or 2+ years of copy-editing experience.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word and similar edit-tracking software and the ability to adapt to new programs.
  • Excellent reading comprehension and writing skills.
  • Preferably experienced in Technical Writing.
