About The Opportunity
Ellucian is seeking a Compensation Partner for our People Team. This is a great opportunity to blend your analytical skills and your human resource expertise. Where you will make an impact
- Oversee Ellucian’s compensation programs, including salary ranges and incentive targets across business units
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to analyze roles, pay, and incentives for fairness, market alignment, and legal compliance
- Conduct market research and recommend updates to compensation programs based on trends and job architecture
- Lead key projects such as salary budgeting, job architecture development, and equity planning
- Support annual and mid-year compensation reviews, promotions, and quarterly equity grants
- Work with Finance to manage accruals and administer equity programs
- Create and deliver training and communication materials related to compensation
- Participate in salary surveys and benchmark Ellucian’s compensation practices against market data
- Evaluate and align job roles within the company’s compensation structure
- 6+ years of Compensation experience in a role that involves Compensation, HR systems and database management with direct collaboration with business leaders
- Demonstrated knowledge of compensation practices with an ability to provide guidance to leaders and employees through a consultative approach
- Experience with compensation market analysis, design software and benchmarking tools
- Experienced administering annual salary and incentive processes within a matrixed, global environment.
- Ability to make recommendations for senior management
- Advanced Excel knowledge and experience (Pivots, V-Lookups, Advanced Formulas, Graphs/Charts) & Power Point skills
- Previous work experience within HRIS systems (Success Factors preferred)
- The right person for this role will be data driven, analytical, collaborative with an eye for details
- A self-starter who is able to work independently but also cooperatively with the Compensation team, HRBPs, Talent and HRIS
