Job Purpose

Operation of a modern storeroom/warehouse to include ordering, receiving, stocking, processing and distribution of materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive sales projections of parts for the year from Part Sales team; Estimate manpower requirements, freight costs, packaging costs, maintenance costs
• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) costs and other overhead costs; Identify any capital budget requirements;
• Share with supervisor the annual budgets for approval; Estimate and seek approval from supervisor for Parts utilities maintenance in order to plan and budget for warehousing and outbound logistics operations.
• Develop packaging design for new parts developed by PD; Monitor daily total receipt of material against plan prepared by Material Management team;
• Based on the Parts receiving plans, work on the Planography, observe changes in the planning & take corrective actions for efficient storage of parts.
• Oversee quality check of received material; Review and submit to Material Management team issues in terms of quality or quantity for raising to suppliers;
• Review entry of received material into system; Monitor repackaging of received material into CNH packaging as per defined standards; Provide deviation approvals for repackaging where required; Monitor aging of received material;
• Undertake analysis to identify reasons for aging and drive corrective actions; Intimate service providers for job works on received material;
  
  

Experience Required

• Develops, implements and maintains a data collection and analysis system to support the Supply Planning process.
• Develops plans for phase in and phase out of new products including supersession, cannibalization and disposition of obsolete finished goods
• Continually monitors the state of the business and dynamically adjusts plans as required to achieve inventory and revenue goals
• Weekly/Daily Scheduling: Responsible for publishing factory production schedules. Review out-sourced FG delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to develop, optimize and maintain world class lean replenishment systems.
• Evaluate factory and key supplier capacities in order to identify and address future supply constraints.
• Develop global inventory plans for FG and Raw materials.
• Develops a supply plan to meet demand.
• Balances inventory and capacity to minimize operating expenses and cash investment.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining the Supply Planning scorecard.
• Generates a monthly management report for review
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

Education- Diploma/BE/BTech (Mechanical)
