About This Role
We are seeking a technically skilled Cloud Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL, particularly within GCP BigQuery environments. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy building scalable cloud-native applications, collaborating with data teams, and ensuring high performance and security standards across cloud infrastructure.

About This Role
We are seeking a technically skilled Cloud Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL, particularly within GCP BigQuery environments. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy building scalable cloud-native applications, collaborating with data teams, and ensuring high performance and security standards across cloud infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Write and debug complex SQL and PL/SQL queries within GCP BigQuery.
- Build and maintain infrastructure using GCP tools such as Google Cloud Functions, App Engine, and Cloud Run.
- Collaborate with data engineers to process and manage large datasets using GCP services including BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
- Apply best practices for performance optimisation, security, and scalability of cloud applications.
- Develop unit tests and maintain documentation to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and debug cloud-based applications in production environments.
- Work on cloud-native development projects.
- Apply understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database systems and data processing frameworks.
- Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL, with hands-on experience in GCP BigQuery.
- Experienced in building cloud infrastructure using GCP services.
- Skilled in debugging and resolving issues in cloud-based applications.
- Familiar with data warehousing concepts and large-scale data processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
