Job Description

  • Strong experience with Java 8+, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Security), and building REST APIs.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or similar).
  • Familiarity with security standards like OWASP Top 10.
  • Expertise in enterprise integration patterns.
  • Proficient with dependency and build tools (Maven).
  • Strong experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient in software testing and static code analysis for maintaining code quality.
  • Familiar with application servers like Tomcat.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Kibana (ELK) and AppDynamics.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker/Containers and container orchestration using Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Primary Skills

  • Basic understanding of Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) processes.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA and familiarity with SCRUM and other Agile Development methodologies.
  • Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures with knowledge of their design trade-offs.
  • Proficient in design, data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
  • Experience working with Spring 3 (JDK 17 is required).
  • Familiar with API development to support Spring upgrades.
  • Strong knowledge of application architectures.
  • Ability to work with databases, writing optimal queries, and following best practices.
  • Knowledge of SCM (Source Code Management), branching techniques, and CI/CD processes.
