Civil & Geotech

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil & Geotechnical Engineer to join our infrastructure and construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in soil investigations, foundation design, and construction project planning. You will be responsible for analyzing subsurface conditions, designing geotechnical systems, and providing technical guidance during project execution to ensure structural safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical investigations, including soil sampling, borehole drilling, and laboratory testing.
• Analyze soil and rock properties to determine the suitability for foundations, slopes, retaining walls, tunnels, and earthworks.
• Design foundations (shallow, deep, pile, raft), ground improvement techniques, and slope stabilization measures.
• Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project designs.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, design calculations, and construction drawings.
• Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to geotechnical design specifications.
• Perform risk assessments for geotechnical hazards such as liquefaction, landslides, or settlement.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to provide technical support during design and construction.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, environmental standards, and safety regulations.
• Utilize software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, STAAD, AutoCAD, and MS Project for analysis and reporting.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical and civil engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and ground improvement techniques.
• Familiarity with IS codes, ASTM standards, and international geotechnical practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with underground metro, tunneling, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of site investigation planning and instrumentation monitoring.
• Project management and client coordination experience.
