For this project we are seeking a Chief Telecom Expert
Responsibilities:
- Lead the telecom strategy for the metro section, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of all telecom-related components including passenger information systems, surveillance, communication networks, and public address systems.
- Serve as the main technical advisor on all telecom matters for the client, supporting informed decision-making at every stage of the project—from design reviews to system commissioning.
- Coordinate with other key systems experts (signaling, electrical, rolling stock, SCADA, civil, etc.) to ensure smooth integration of telecom systems into the overall metro infrastructure.
- Monitor and guide contractors, ensuring their designs, installations, and test procedures meet the project’s performance and safety requirements.
- Support inspections and reviews, provide critical inputs during factory and site testing, and ensure the system is fully ready for safe passenger operations.
- Represent the telecom discipline in project meetings, interface discussions, and client interactions, contributing both technical knowledge and strategic insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in telecom with 5 years in Metrorail projects
