ROLE Summary

Follow established procedures and guidelines to analyse test samples and review analytically to report the result.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and experiments, following standard procedures and protocols
• Collect and analyze samples, recording and interpreting data
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and cleanliness
• Assist in the development and validation of new laboratory methods and procedures
• Document and report test results accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and ensure proper storage and disposal of hazardous materials
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve laboratory processes
  
  

REQUIREMENTS (education, Experience, Competencies And Specific Job Requirements)

Required Expertise / Knowledge / Skills

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Chemistry from recognized University (in house candidate)
• Masters Degree in Chemistry from recognized University ( New external hires)
• Proven experience working in a laboratory, preferably in a similar role
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under tight deadlines
• 5- 10 years of industry experience
