On behalf of our client, a US based MNC with around 25 years of presence in India, and a global leader in branded packaging, trim and supply chain solutions, we are seeking an an experienced Finance leader to manage our finance function. The Finance Head / Director Finance will be responsible for the overall financial health of the organization by managing all financial related functions, processes and the members of the Finance team.
This role requires in-depth financial acumen as well as hands-on financial and senior leadership experience to ensure seamless operation in the finance function. The Finance Director should closely work with the Managing Director to provide necessary directions and assistance related to financial matters. Ensure the Corporate HQ requirements and reports are managed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
- FINANCE
- Effectively manage overall financial planning process.
- Review and analyze the cash flow position and plan for future requirements as per business forecast.
- Efficiently manage Trade Receivables and Payables.
- Efficiently manage banking related work.
- Manage payroll services for the company.
- Manage salary budgets and monitor the processes, including monthly reconciliation of salaries.
- Effectively manage all expenses in the company.
- ACCOUNTING
- Well execution of the month-end accounts closing process.
- Review costings and manage overall costing process.
- Review and submit all the required financial reports to senior management.
- Ensure well preparation of company budget reports and ensure the business operation is in line with set budgets.
- Lead all related audits i.e. Statutory Audit etc.
- Closely work with other relevant divisions in the company on all related matters.
- TAXATION
- Actively manage Tax planning.
- Review monthly taxation payment calculations and report.
- Review yearly taxation payment calculation and report.
- Ensure the completeness of supporting document for Monthly Tax report.
- Lead Tax Audit and the whole process related to Tax Audit.
- CONTROLLERSHIP
- Design, implement and sustain the appropriate control procedures to make sure well governance of the company.
- Develop appropriate strategies and action plan to achieve long-term financial goals of the company.
- Comprehensive analysis of company financials and plan for improvements.
- Manage overall costing process and improvements.
- Critically evaluate company's business performance and discuss possible improvements with relevant stakeholders.
- Drive continuous process improvements.
- Develop Financial management mechanisms which could minimize financial risks.
- Develop external relationships with appropriate parties i.e. auditors, bankers, relevant government authorities etc.
- Overall management of finance staff.
- Be up to date on the changes in the relevant financial regulations and legislations.
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
- Should be a Chartered Accountant and an MBA in Finance is preferred.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for reporting and analysis.
- Hands on experience in SAP (B1/Hana).
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Navi Mumbai.
