Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Category Manager with a proven background in B2C or D2C environments. In this role, you will be responsible for the P&L of your assigned category, overseeing the entire product portfolio, managing sales, collaborating with marketing teams, creating compelling offers, and utilizing data analytics to drive category growth. This position demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execute plans effectively and ensure the success of the category.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the P&L for your assigned category, driving revenue growth and profitability through strategic planning and execution.
  • Oversee the entire product portfolio, ensuring it aligns with market demand, customer needs, and business objectives.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize category performance, working closely with sales teams to achieve targets.
  • Partner with marketing teams to create compelling offers, promotional campaigns, and brand strategies that enhance category visibility and customer engagement.
  • Leverage data analytics to monitor category performance, identify growth opportunities, and make informed decisions that drive category success.
  • Develop and execute category strategies that align with Thrillophilia's overall business goals, focusing on growth, market share, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of category initiatives, fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Champion the customer experience within the category, ensuring that all offerings meet or exceed customer expectations.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • MBA from a Tier 1 College (e.g., IIMs, ISB, or other globally renowned institutions).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in category management, product management, or a related role within B2C or D2C environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing P&L, with a strong focus on driving profitability and category growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions that enhance category performance.
  • A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to executing plans effectively, ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create impactful offers and campaigns that drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • A deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to develop offerings that resonate with target audiences.
