Job Overview

The objective of this position is to deliver best quality drawing along with bill of material for smooth manufacturing of pressure vessel.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Preparation of detailed fabrication drawing for the Pressure vessel.
• Preparation of GA drawing and parts drawing of pressure vessel.
• Preparation of Plate Cutting layout and cutting program with Waterjet machine software.
• Preparation of Weld Plan based on fabrication drawing.
• Preparation of document distribution transmittal, Master list and other document.
• Prepare Bill of Material for Pressure vessel and ERP entry of BOM.
• Release all the design drawings to the concern department for further process.
• change drawing and prepare sketches as per requirement.
• Maintain the drawings documents and records as per company requirement.
• Responsible for maintaining record for design change.
• Maintain ASME, ISO and IMS documentation for design department.
• Knowledge of Pressure vessel, fabrication, piping and drafting in 2D software.
• Good knowledge of 2d & 3d software (AutoCAD, inventor or any other 3D software).
• Experience in industrial (oil & gas) design/drafting.
• Passion for learning.
• Ability to work independently.
  
  

Authority

• To control drawings and design document by proper distribution and records.
• To change and update drawing.
  
  

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Skills

• Diploma in Mechanical
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and math skills
• They must be able to understand complex blueprints and specifications.
• They must also be able to use software programs to develop cost estimates.
