Job Description
As a Business Analyst in the General Ledger Shared Service Center (GL SSC., the candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of the company. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to reconcile accounts efficiently. The candidate will be expected to use accounting software proficiently and assist in budgeting processes.
Principal Accountabilities
Assist in the preparation of financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a recurring basis, including but not limited to preparing and posting journal entries, account and transaction reconciliation, and variance analysis.
Utilize accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
Assist in the preparation of the budget, providing relevant data and suggestions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and procedures.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
Use entrepreneurial skills to identify and implement process improvements.
Demonstrate a global mindset in dealing with financial matters of the company.
Exhibit people excellence by working collaboratively with team members and other departments.
Apply business and commercial acumen to understand and contribute to the company's strategic goals.
The candidate should have a strong business acumen, commercial acumen, and entrepreneurship, as these skills will be crucial in understanding the business's financial needs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
